Dear Friends of Brisson Bala Bhavan!

Loving Greetings from Brisson Bala Bhavan. I hope this letter finds you in good health. First of all I would like to thank you for your valuable help to our children. It is because of your constant support that these children are able to be where they are: in Brisson Bala Bhavan.

            Brisson Bala Bhavan is blooming with 20 students. Today, let me just speak about Abraham. Abraham is attending 1st standard. He is five years old. When he was visited before selection we came to know that his aunt; his parents rejected him at birth; used to keep him locked in during the day while she was at work. I think this is enough to understand how Abraham benefits from our facility. It gives a good feeling to allow such a child to have a decent childhood indeed.

            A few days back India celebrated its 60th Independence Day. It was an occasion for all of us to rejoice with our nation. Of course the children participated in some functions. We added a dining hall, a study hall and bathrooms to our hostel. With this extension we can accommodate our 20 boys reasonably well.

You will find along with this letter some recent pictures. We want to give a face to Brisson Bala Bhavan. Brisson Bala Bhavan is not about a building, nor is it about an institution. It is about 20 children: John Britto, Dileep, Prasanth, Yesupadam, Phrabakern, Sebin, Charles, Tim, Paul, Sunil, Santhosh, KM Prasanth, Prasanth Kumar, Chandra Shekar, Celestine, Sharan, Pradeep, Sanchez, Xavier and Abraham: you remember. They can be children. Thank you for helping them.
